Job Description:

The Space and Airborne Systems segment’s (SAS) HR Center of Excellence has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and seasoned Sr Specialist, Total Rewards. This role will work closely with the Human Resources team to drive and execute strategic compensation programs, policies, and practices to align to L3Harris Technologies’ goals and competitive practices. Primary responsibility for this role includes, though are not limited to:

Essential Functions:

  • Partners and provides consultation to the HR team to conduct compensation analyses, inclusive of recommendations for new hires, internal promotions, counter offers and job evaluations, while reinforcing the company’s overall compensation philosophy
  • Play a key role in annual salary and incentive planning processes such as HR and manager training, systems testing, data validation, communications, and detailed compensation analysis
  • Oversee incentive plans, including collaborating with leaders to align budgets and leading the review and approval process for payouts
  • Enhance effectiveness and recommend improvements for SAS Total Rewards processes
  • Collaborate with HR business partners and managers to conduct job analyses to ensure appropriate FLSA classification, job leveling, and job family assignments are made
  • Lead and manage special projects or initiatives with various team members and stakeholders within and outside of the SAS HR team
  • Contribute to enterprise-wide strategic initiatives that support the business based on relevant data analysis
  • Ensures all compensation programs are compliant with government standards and labor laws. Includes responsibility for internal and external compensation audits, including interface with OFCCP and legal as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years, Master’s Degree and 4+ years, or in lieu of degree, 10 years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, finance or relevant areas

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; must be able to effectively use excel for reporting and data analysis (Pivot Tables, V-lookups, If statements, and advanced formulas)
  • Preferred Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
  • Ability to manage large datasets to develop and drive effective and efficient solutions
  • Experience in managing complex projects with various team members and stakeholders
  • Analytical, mathematical skills, and financial acumen
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with impeccable attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and effective written communication
  • Capable of handling confidential information with sensitivity
  • Strong customer service, multi-tasking, analytical, and prioritization skills

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $71,500- $132,500. For California, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City, the salary range for this role is $82,500- $153,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
