As the premier provider of Space Domain Awareness (SDA) mission solutions for the United States Space Force, L3Harris is looking for a candidate to develop and maintain RADAR systems. L3Harris is seeking professionals to work in a dynamic environment to solve challenging technical problems. Individuals will perform Eglin system software development, design, implementation, test, and configuration management. The ideal candidate should have experience with the full software development lifecycle. This position is onsite located in Colorado Springs, CO and requires a Secret Security Clearance.

Essential Functions:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and enhance software applications.
• Implement new features and optimize existing functionalities to improve performance and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Assist in the migration and upgrading of software systems to new environments and technologies.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation.
• Use strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• This position requires Secret Clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
• Active U.S. DoD Secret Security clearance.
• Experience with Python, Java, C, C++, and JavaScript.
• Experience with developer tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, RHEL, AWS, PostgreSQL, Spring Framework, VMWare, Eclipse IDE, Atlassian Suite, REST APIs, and JUnit.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Previous experience with GUI enhancement, data processing optimization, and version migration is a plus.
• Experience with machine learning models and data analysis.
• Knowledge of image recognition techniques and automation scripting.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as BitBucket and Git.
• CompTIA Security+

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $73,000 - $136,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.  May close within 60 days of 10/1/2025.
