Job Description:
Senior Specialist PM position in support of Customer contract execution related to submarine and shore site installation/test efforts for US/UK. Familiarity with the installation and test of Complex weapons systems in concert with multiple industry partners. Familiarity with DOD program management, program development and DOD acquisition processes and requirements. Demonstrate knowledge of Program Management fundamentals (EVM reporting, leading of IPTs, Governmental contracting, Contract development, IMS, etc).
Essential Functions:
- Prior Profit and Loss experience across multiple disciplines (Program Management, contracting, procurement and deployed support) preferrable with a DOD/Navy or related contractor-based organization
- Prior experience across Navy/DOD programs (as support contractor or direct lead) is desired. Capability and knowledge to understand Government contracts and program execution is highly desired.
- Review and manage installation timelines, coordinate priorities to keep field execution on track, address delays or conflicts affecting milestones
cross-functional coordination, work with engineering, logistics, field teams, and customer representatives, align resources and execution plans across all stakeholders, resolve issues that affect performance or delivery. - Ability to travel ~ 25% per month (including CONUS and UK locations), capable of working extended hours as required to complete assigned work tasks with reasonable notice.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Active US Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Soft skills (i.e.proficient in MS-Office, Project, presentation preparation, etc.).
- Familiarity with installation/testing of hardware onboard Navy platforms and shore sites. Familiarity with US Navy access/support operations.
- Strong communication skills to support discussions with senior customer and contractor management.
- Capability to support contract development and related contract execution of tasking.
- Ability to work with and lead multiple support organizations (engineering, Technical services, procurement and supply chain teams, etc.) in execution of day-to-day efforts and to support long range planning.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California is $106,500.00 - $197,500.00. The salary range for this role in Florida is $92,500 - $171,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
