Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support material quality, traceability, and inventory control activities. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally to investigate issues and ensure materials are accurately identified, properly documented, and dispositioned in accordance with company requirements. This position helps sustain production and business operations by reducing downtime, waste, and material-related disruptions.
Essential Functions:
Provide Quality functional support to Inventory Management team
Serve as a cross-functional point of contact for Receiving, Stockroom, Supply Chain, Planning, Operations, and Supplier Quality
Perform inventory verification activities, including location audits and review of returned, located, or discrepant material
Review tape and reel component issues, including damaged reels, separated tape, short reels, and potential part mismatch or swap conditions
Support production and stockroom control activities, including SMT teardown, wrong-part tracking, line returns, and return-to-stock review
Conduct approved manufacturer list (AML) verification and review failed receiving scan activity to ensure material compliance and traceability
Partner with internal stakeholders to improve barcode compliance and reduce recurring scan exceptions
Support material planning and ECO implementation by managing EVAL material requiring control runs or planned cutover
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years prior quality experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 2 years prior quality experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
Certified IPC Specialist (CIS) certification for: IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620
Experience with J-STD-001
Experience in mechanical inspection utilizing basic metrology equipment (calipers, pin gages, etc.)
Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)
Familiarity with Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $23.80 - $43.99. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
