- Perform system‑level integration and test activities to validate performance and prepare systems for training and deployment.
- Develop and deliver clear, engaging technical training driven by engineering documentation, system requirements, and real‑world field insights.
- Translate complex engineering concepts into practical training materials, lesson plans, and demonstrations that build operator confidence and capability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to refine processes, enhance maintainability, and ensure training reflects current system updates.
- Maintain specialized training and engineering equipment, ensuring calibration accuracy and operational readiness.
- Support customer demonstrations, operator readiness events, and mission‑critical training engagements.
Essential Functions:
- Lead hands‑on integration, alignment, and testing of opto‑mechanical and fiber‑optic systems to ensure reliable performance in demanding mission environments.
- Deliver high‑quality technical training that enhances learner understanding, proficiency, and mission readiness.

- Represent the team during system demonstrations, evaluations, and customer engagements, providing knowledgeable and professional technical support.
- Maintain training and engineering assets with precision to meet performance and calibration standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience with system integration and test using engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Demonstrated ability with precision mechanical assemblies, optical components, and/or fiber optic hardware.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convert engineering information into clear, field‑ready training content.
- Comfortable delivering instruction in classroom, lab, or operational settings.
- Fine‑motor mechanical skills for small‑component and precision‑tool work.
- Hands‑on fiber‑optic skills, including connectorization, polishing, inspection, and loss‑testing.
- Background in electro‑optical systems, sensors, or other high‑reliability technical environments.
- Familiarity with basic shop math and applied problem‑solving.
- Instructor certifications (military or civilian) are a plus.
- Experience developing technical documentation or interactive training materials.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with collaboration tools such as Confluence or Adobe products.
