Job Description:

SAS1 Government Compliance is seeking a Senior Specialist who will be responsible for the Forward Pricing Rate Proposal (FPRP), Disclosure Statement (DS), associated government audits, and other special projects within the Government Compliance organization. This position will interface with local and segment-level functions, including but not limited to Financial Planning and Analysis, Cost Planning, Accounting, Compliance POCs, and external government customers.

Essential Functions:

• Support the preparation of the FPRP and DS
• Support internal and external audits related to FPRP, DS, Cost Accounting Standards, and Business Systems
• Maintain rate tables and proposal-supporting financial information
• Assist with ad hoc requests, analysis, and special projects regarding compliance issues, as needed
• Create and maintain documentation related to processes
• Prepare and provide compliance-related training as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience: Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
• 3+ years of experience within compliance, program finance, accounting, or financial planning in the aerospace/government contracting environment
• 3+ years of experience interpreting and applying FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation), DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement), and CAS (Cost Accounting Standards)
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to effectively summarize analyses where appropriate
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and within a team

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C. area, Denver, or NYC areas is $84,000-$156,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont, and Virginia is $73,000-$135,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
