Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days- totaling 80 hours worked- and have every other Friday off - 2nd Shift

Job Description:

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in attention to detail, and wants to build a career in aerospace manufacturing company. You will be working with antenna products that will need to be masked or touching up any imperfection paint application. No experience? No problem. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.

Essential Functions:

• Mask, using proper protective tape to mask and unmask per work instruction.
• Touch-up, using a fine paint brush touch up any imperfection on painted products
• Observe industry best practices for FOD, 5S, and material handling controls.
• Ensure that you are following all safety requirements/PPE
• Promote and facilitate lean manufacturing principles within an environment of continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation.
• Takes measures to ensure item is properly coated and meets surface protection requirements
• Read and understand detailed blueprints and operation sheets
• Exceptional organizational skills & ability to manage multiple projects and assignments
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, flexible production environment
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Artist touch
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York (Greater NYC. area) is $18.99 MIN - $35.34 MAX. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
