About your next challenge as a Senior Specialist, Project Management
What you will do:
- Assist with new project set-up and subsequent maintenance in IFS ERP system;
- Maintain project records and/or databases (actions, correspondence, deliverables, etc.);
- Analyse project status, procurement status, SNAG status and overall project progress based on project data and write reports;
- Prepare Internal Progress Report (IPR) records and project schedules;
- Prepare EAC updates / change orders;
- Contact vendors to expedite deliveries, if necessary;
- Solicit cost estimates for change proposals and/or for EAC inputs;
- Generate invoices, packing notes, procurement requisitions and other forms in support of the execution of the project;
- Prepare project spending profile;
- May act as a primary liaison with Customer;
- Undertake decisions and recommendations within established guidelines and procedures;
- Complete recurring assignments independently;
- Activities undertaken will involve initiative, data analysis or interpretation (cost, schedule, risk, etc.).
Required Skills and Experiences
- German knowledge (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Engineering degree, commerce or equivalent;
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience of project management or combination of education and experience;
- Proven methodology of project management;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
- Excellent communication skills to maintain excellent customer relations;
- Experience with or knowledge of high tech products is an asset;
- Effective team work skills (customer teams, colleagues in PM, internal services and external suppliers).
Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO SECRET security clearance.
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
