About your next challenge as Specialist, Subcontract Administrator:
Reporting to the Subcontract Manager as Specialist, Subcontract Administrator, your main responsibility will be to draft, review and negotiate subcontract agreements and supplier terms and conditions in support of aircraft programs. You will develop and maintain relationships with various functional internal stakeholders such as Programs, Procurement, Engineering and Compliance. Additionally, you will be required to analyze various contractual situations and offer recommendations to minimize business risks, enhance competitive advantage, and meet the expectations of internal and external customers.
As Specialist, Subcontract Administrator, you are a high-level professional who has strong knowledge in the contractual field. You are able to support complex contracts to achieve business objectives, mitigate risks and have a direct impact on team and service outcomes.
In the heat of the action, you will be called upon to:
- Draft, review and negotiate non-disclosure agreements.
- Draft and review subcontract agreements and amendments.
- Review and negotiate supplier terms and conditions.
- Draft restated agreements.
- Prepare executive contract summaries.
- Support contract approval and execution.
- Support the development and updating of model documents such as requests for information, requests for proposals, subcontracts in accordance with L3Harris/MAS policies and procedures and applicable customer contracts.
Required Skills and Experiences:
- Paralegal degree, Bachelor’s degree in Administration or equivalent degree or experience;
- 4-6 years of experience in contract review and contract drafting, contract management or equivalent (supply chain, procurement, project management).
- Experience in reviewing, negotiating and summarizing agreements and terms and conditions;
- Experience in the field of aerospace technologies or a similar industry;
- Experience with trade compliance regulations (ITAR, EAR, etc.) will be considered an asset.
- Experience with the Government of Canada's Controlled Goods and Contract Security Programs will be considered an asset.
- Experience with international and commercial contracts of subcontractors;
- Contract drafting skills;
- Negotiation skills;
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-moving team environment;
- Excellent verbal and written communication, in English and French;
- Be motivated and have initiative;
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office software suite: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance;
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
