Job Description:

L3Harris is a world-recognized aerospace and defense leader providing advanced technology solutions across domestic and international markets. We are seeking an SAP MDG Business Analyst to serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT in support of enterprise procurement and master data governance solutions.

This role will primarily support SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) for Business Partner and will also provide functional support for SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing (B&I). The analyst will work closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT teams to support business processes, improve data quality, enhance governance, and ensure effective integration across SAP platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong functional experience in SAP MDG for Business Partner, and the ability to support requirements gathering, solution design, testing, troubleshooting, training, and production support. This role should also be willing to expand Ariba knowledge over time and serve as a backup for the Ariba analyst when needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Support the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of SAP MDG for Business Partner solutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the business, internal IT teams, and the   managed service partner (MSP) for SAP MDG-related support and delivery activities.
  • Configure and maintain MDG data models, user interfaces, workflows, validations, and BRF+ business rules.
  • Support Business Partner governance processes, including creation, change, validation, approval workflows, and replication.
  • Support governance for Business Partner data domains such as supplier/vendor, customer, and organizational relationships, as applicable.
  • Manage and support Data Replication Framework (DRF) processes for outbound Business Partner replication.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional MDG solutions.
  • Support data quality, governance, standardization, and compliance initiatives related to Business Partner master data.
  • Assist with data migration, cleansing, and conversion activities related to Business Partner records.
  • Support integration between SAP MDG, SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and related SAP modules and connected applications.
  • Create and maintain functional documentation, process flows, test scripts, and user training materials.
  • Provide production support, issue analysis, defect resolution, testing support, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Train the team on SAP MDG Business Partner processes and functionality.
  • Basic understanding of SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing
  • Serve as a backup for the SAP Ariba Analyst as needed.
  • Demonstrate willingness to learn and expand SAP Ariba knowledge to broaden support capabilities.
  • Provide functional guidance to the MSP and ensure work aligns with business requirements, SAP standards, and internal processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience integrating SAP MDG with SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, and procurement or vendor-related processes
  • Knowledge of procurement, supplier onboarding, and invoicing processes.
  • Experience with Business Partner replication and downstream system integration.
  • Experience with data migration, data cleansing, and governance initiatives.
  • Experience in highly regulated or manufacturing-based environments.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Corporate wide Supply Chain implementation and integration
  • Strong experience with SAP MDG, specifically Business Partner.
  • Hands-on experience with MDG data models, UI configuration, workflows, validations, and BRF+.
  • Experience supporting MDG integration interfaces, including DRF, IDoc, SOAP web services, file-based interfaces, SAP Process Integration/Process Orchestration,
  • Strong understanding of Business Partner data governance processes, including customer and supplier/vendor master data.
  • Experience with Data Replication Framework (DRF).
  • Experience working in SAP ECC & SAP S/4HANA environments.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $96,000-$178,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $84,000-$156,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
