  • Partner collaboratively across engineering disciplines to evaluate system interfaces and performance requirements.
  • Provide oversight on estimating, scoping, and validating engineering work to meet commitments.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders including customers and senior leadership.
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement across engineering processes and methodologies.
  • Recommend operational plans and oversee implementation to achieve functional goals with short- to mid-term impact.
  • Develop people and foster inclusive, collaborative environments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and diverse partners.
  • Ability to obtain US Security Clearance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Experience managing engineering execution within technical, cost, and schedule constraints.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of Agile Software Development frameworks and methodologies with certification such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM).
  • Expertise in software or firmware engineering with broad technical knowledge.
  • Experience supporting military, defense, or mission-critical systems.
  • Background in systems engineering or hardware-software integration.
  • Experience building and leading psychologically safe engineering cultures.
  • Familiarity with configuration management best practices and standards.
  • Ability to gain and maintain security clearance, if required in future.
