Job Description:
Security Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facility. The following is a brief description of their duties. They will oversee leading a group of armed proprietary Security Officers and Security control center personnel. Responsible for day-to-day security operations to include arming personnel, maintaining a duty roster, ensuring proper posting of personnel, accountability of equipment, accuracy of reports, ensuring a strong physical security posture for the facility, establishing regular security inspections.
Coordinates with firefighting and civil law-enforcement agencies, and other security related operations as needed. Will serve as initial on-scene commander for medical emergencies, minor criminal incidents, minor/major incidents. Performs assigned duties in maintaining Facilities Protection equipment, vehicles, firearms, uniforms, and all other equipment. Assists Fire Department, EHS/Safety, and other departments in all emergencies or security related incidents. Performs other duties as required. Reports and performs necessary action(s) to protect against theft; unauthorized entry to the facility or closed areas; imminent threats of life or safety, and failure to properly safeguard classified material, including unauthorized removal. Patrols the perimeter of the facility and responds to alarmed areas. Performs necessary action to ensure compliance with Company rules and regulations, safe work practices and other control procedures. Investigates incidents and prepares written reports with the details of the incident. When necessary, conducts alcohol / drug screenings when certified to do so.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- Must possess and maintain level 3 PSB certification through the Texas department of public safety.
- Must possess and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance and ability to obtain all special accesses required on the facility.
- You must be able to work under stressful conditions with rotation schedules and have a valid driver’s license.
- Extensive experience in report writing, security operations, and documenting /correcting personnel disciplinary issues immediately.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.

- Must be able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner.
- Must be able to interact with persons of varying importance, multi-cultural customers and personnel.
- Must be able to work any shift and overtime as required.
- This is a 1st-shift (daytime) position with typical daily work hours of 6:00am - 6:00pm. Subject to change as needed. (12-hour flex schedule)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.
- Commissioned Security Officer, Military/Security Police, or Law Enforcement officer is a plus.
- Must submit to random drug / alcohol screens
- Basic knowledge of the 32CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and other security related regulations a plus.
- Must be able to get in and out of vehicles, climb (stairs, scaffolding, ladders, etc.), and stand for long periods of time, and walk for long distances, such as moving from one work site to another.
- Must be able to lift/maneuver up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull, grasp visual acuity, operate company motor vehicles, and work in extreme heat/cold environmental conditions, subject to hazards such as near moving vehicles.
