Job Description:
In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and managing critical security programs that safeguard classified, sensitive, and proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. You'll stay ahead of evolving federal regulations and ensure compliance across multiple disciplines—including finance, cybersecurity, information technology, and trade compliance.
You'll collaborate with government agencies to secure rulings and interpretations, author security manuals, and establish procedures for handling and storing restricted information. Your work will also involve conducting security training and audits, leading investigations into security incidents, and providing actionable insights that strengthen our overall posture.
You'll play a key role in collecting and analyzing intelligence information and ensuring it reaches the right stakeholders. You'll be part of the Advanced Systems & Technologies (AS&T) division, a powerhouse within L3Harris’ Electronic Warfare Development Group. AS&T is leading the way in next-generation technologies—from advanced Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS/UAVs) to state-of-the-art radar, weapons systems, and RF sensors. Essential Functions:
• Analyze and investigate security incidents and violations; prepare internal and external customer reports.
• Conduct annual self-inspections.
• Physical security duties include, but are not limited to, maintaining and changing combinations, access control systems, alarm accesses, secure area modifications and buildouts
• Maintain multiple PERSEC databases including JADE, DISS and SIMS.
• Process PARS in accordance with SAPNP guidance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a SECRET security clearance.
Preferred Additional Skills:
• Knowledge of Joint Access Database Environment (JADE).
• Knowledge of Defense Information System for Security (DISS) & National Background Investigation Services (NBIS).
• Knowledge and Implementation of the DoDM 5205.07.
• Knowledge of the EQUIP Process and Justification Requests.
• Knowledge of Security Information Management System (SIMS).
• Knowledge of Access Control Systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
• Must communicate effectively and in a professional manner.
• Must interact with persons of varying importance, multi-cultural customers and personnel.
• Must be able to work under stressful conditions.
• Experience with Personnel Security preferred.
• Active SECRET security clearance preferred.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey is $65,500 - $93,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
