Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off

Job Description:

We are seeking multiple Senior Specialist, Quality Engineers to join our team in Carlstadt, NJ.

Essential Functions:

• The control of both raw materials and finished product quality
• Manage or perform receiving inspection
• Review and approval of engineering drawings, specifications, procedures and work instructions
• Review and approval of production hardware
• Preparation of Acceptance Data Packages for delivery with hardware
• Review of build records
• Support internal and external audits, customer reviews at buy-off
• Support corrective and preventive actions.
• Review of purchase requisitions for application of quality requirements
• Review of incoming material certifications
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Background in Quality Engineering in Aerospace or Military industries
• Quality Management Systems ISO9001/AS9100 5+ years experience preferred,
• Experience in Dimensional Inspection and Calibration.
• First Article Inspection per AS9102 required
• Experience with Auditing Internal and External
• Experience in composite wrap inspection
• Experience in Borescope / Videoscope inspection

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in the State of New Jersey is $96,000 - $178,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
