About the Role
Primary Responsibilities
Work across functional disciplines of the organization; focusing on the continuous improvement culture, operational excellence, and continually enhancing our improvement tool sets and methodologies. The ideal candidate is passionate about leading change, driving results, and promoting a culture of improvement.
- Continuous Improvement Programs: Lead Gemba and 6S maturity assessment, training, and improvements across the site.
- Operational Excellence: Support teams in operational excellence journey through people engagement, facilitation of kaizen, and driving customer focus.
- Process Analysis: Facilitate the collection, analysis and visualisation of existing process data aligned with the customer value stream to improve safety, quality, and cost.
- Lean: Application of lean tools to eliminate waste and reduce process variation with project teams.
- Project Coordination: Engage cross-functional teams in planning, execution, and monitoring of improvement projects, ensuring timely completion and validated attainment of objectives.
- Change Management: Ensure successful adoption of change through effective management of the human side of change.
- Training, Development and Learning: Support and provide training of lean tools and methodologies, and identify self-development opportunities.
- Contribute to Culture: Stay above the line while working with complex changes and conflict. Engage and contribute to the continuous improvement mindset.
- Digital Transformation: Provide fresh perspective on current CI processes, offering automation solutions to reduce teams’ administrative duties.

Desired Education and Experiences
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience
- In lieu of degree, 8+ years experience in manufacturing, manufacturing engineering or process development
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Expert certificate an asset, demonstration of lean principles required
- 2+ years’ experience in CI an asset
- Experienced in working with cross-organizational teams
- BI Report creation skill is an asset.
*This posting is for a current vacancy. In the province of Ontario, Canada, the salary range for this position will be $80,000-$105,000
