Job Description:
Responsible for fabricating electron gun assemblies, ensuring high-quality standards, and adhering to safety protocols. This role requires a hands-on approach, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions:
- Performing various routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting activities
- Adhere to procedures and work instructions
- Perform the exhaust process on components to achieve quality and yield goals set by the Exhaust department
- Produce a quality product that meets the customer specifications and maintains sufficient inventory to satisfy internal and external customers
- Interprets data from Analytical/ Diagnostics equipment to make sound decisions based on relevant facts
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/ GED (required)
- Ability to clearly read, write, and understand English (required)
- Ability to work independently; ability to multitask and switch tasks from one job process/procedure to another as needed to meet production requirements
- Ability to write procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues
- Ability to communicate well across various organizations, verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of all safety (mechanical, chemical, electrical) procedures applicable to job
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Related manufacturing work experience; 1-3 years preferred
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to become familiar with SPC (Statistical Process Control)
- Ability to become familiar with Six Sigma problem solving tools, 5S+1, and Lean methodologies
