Job Description:
Join the L3Harris team as a Field Service Representative and enhance your skills while delivering comprehensive training, maintenance, product demonstrations and operational support on tactical radio systems to a diverse clientele, including military, civilian, and international customers. As an integral part of our team, you will become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the operation and application of L3Harris Communication Systems' core product lines
Essential Functions:
- Conduct engaging training sessions that include lectures, hands-on laboratory work, and field exercises.
- Facilitate courses and product support at our L3Harris locations, customer facilities near the San Diego areas and other customer sites worldwide.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide tactical communications solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
- Demonstrated ability to master and teach complex technical systems.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, tailored for a variety of audiences.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and within a collaborative environment.
- Flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time, including potential overtime as necessary.
- Ability to pass a background check and to obtain a US Secret level clearance.
- Work closely with the Account and Program Management team to achieve business goals though customer interactions and support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant Radio repair experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related Radio Repair experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related Radio Repair experience.
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of L3Harris/RF Communications (AN/PRC-117G, AN/PRC-163, AN/PRC-160, RF-410D, AN/PRC-167) and VSAT terminal products.
- RF/Radio or related communications experience preferred.
- Experience running Factory Test Stations.
- Knowledge of Product Service database (Oracle EBS).
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work and learn in fast paced production environment.
- Experience with Windows office suite.
- International travel/experience.
- Knowledge of network systems administration, wireless networking, and IT support, including networking router technologies.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland, Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State, and New York City, the salary range for this role is $100,000 - $150,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
