Job Title: Facilities Technician C

Job Location:Plano / Richardson, Texas

Job Description: This role will support three buildings for L3Harris.  Two buildings in Plano and one building in Richardson, totaling 225,975 Sqft.  Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facility's structure, equipment, and grounds, including all trades (mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.). Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.  Additionally, support of facilities infrastructure inside of classified spaces will be a critical part of this role.

Essential Functions:

• Facilities structure maintenance (doors, windows, furniture, etc.)
• Repairing/replacing electrical lighting, plugs, and switches
• Adjusting HVAC controls for air flow and temperature changes
• Minor plumbing repairs
• Moving and setting up offices
• Setting up conference rooms for meetings
• Support of building infrastructure within closed program space
• Other tasks as assigned by the manager  

Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Must be able to obtain a US Security Clearance

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Be able to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications
• Be able to work on lifts and ladders, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in extreme temperatures and high humidity conditions, either inside or outside the building, as necessary

• Existing US Security Clearance
• Knowledge of the MES control system
• Electrician (Journeyman / Master)
• Specialized training (Plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
• Experience working in a manufacturing/office environment
• Good communication skills and teamwork
