Job Description:

In this position, you will bring your development engineering background to a systems engineering role where you can make a broad impact to engineering projects that are critical to our customers.
Essential Functions:
- Technical point of contact for the customer.
- Brief leadership on technical status.
- Provide guidance and direction to Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Firmware designers to ensure the success of the design.
- Designing test sets for environmental stress screening (ESS)
- Ensure the system meets requirements as designed by the customer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- 7 years experience in electrical, mechanical, or embedded firmware/software engineering detailed design of custom electronic subsystems
- Experience with requirements management, deriving requirements, & creating requirements test verification matrices
- Experience designing test sets for environmental stress screening (ESS)
- Systems Integration and Test experience
- Experience with DOORs or equivalent requirements management tool
- Active Secret Security clearance
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or similar engineering discipline
- Master’s degree in systems, electrical, or similar engineering discipline
- Experience developing technical or cost proposals in a defense contracting environment
- Experience with earned value management systems for measuring program performance
- Strong communication and leadership skills
