L3Harris is looking for a Sr. Associate, Production Planning at the Huntsville, AL facility. Primary job role consists of capacity planning and production scheduling across multiple projects and shared resources. The incumbent for this role will utilize MRP Planning systems, Oracle, Scheduling methods, and provide excellent internal customer support while functioning in a highly technical environment, and dealing with a wide variety of communication types and products. This position may require overtime, weekend, holiday and/or second shift work.
Essential Functions:
- Analyze and support the use of MRP/ERP Oracle planning and scheduling tools, dashboards, and data bases to facilitate the site’s ability to schedule and accurately forecast future work.
- Responsible for proactive constraint management for critical work centers to ensure unrestricted hardware flow.
- Create and analyze capacity data at the department level. Provide “what if” capacity and schedule analysis as needed for changing demand requirements and constraints.
- Responsible for coordination of tactical level tasks and issue resolution that may cross multiple COEs and Departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- MRP/ERP
- Excellent communication, Interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional/cross-site teams.
