About the role
We are seeking highly motivated and technically competent Systems Engineers, looking to make their mark on some of the most high-profile and strategically critical Australian Defence Industry programs.
Systems Engineers will conduct the design and integration of new capabilities, and upgrades for existing platform systems.
Your remit will be as broad as it is challenging. Key responsibilities may include but not be limited to; conducting ship inspections, liaising with customers, OEMs and staff to develop requirements and assessment of constraints, engineering design of defence solutions, design documents, test procedures and test reports, and assisting the business development team with technical proposals and costings.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated relevant experience in the Systems Engineering Lifecycle.
- Defence industry experience preferred
- Degree in Communications/Electrical/Electronics/Systems Engineering or similar
- Development of specifications, requirements, design, and test procedures
- Knowledge of the operation of communications equipment and systems.
- Understanding of Configuration Management practices and procedures.
