Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an experienced Technical Trainer or TC SME with the WSOTS II program to perform as the site manager of the Fort Meade WSOC. This position will: Require leadership experience. Ensure performance of operational support functions and operational assistance to the site personnel. Provide operations support, technical assistance, and training to user personnel in operations, maintenance, fault diagnosis, IA, and repair of systems and equipment by the resident on-site personnel. Facilitate operations and technical site support. Provide daily communications with Program Manager, Field Services Manager, and SME. Ensure provision of technical and engineering support and on-site shift coverage and/or on-call response operational and maintenance support for the on-site systems. Ensure training is conducted as required. Ensure compliance regarding foreign operations and foreign Government requirements for employees. Ensure compliance with SOFA, ITAR, and TAA requirements, and MOU between the U.S. and supported foreign countries. Ensure IA support provides system administration and IA subject matter expertise and support functions to enable WSOMS to comply with the Army’s transformation of Information Systems and IA requirements. Ensure the database and system administration functions are properly performed. Perform OJT and informal training support as required. Identify program risks and capture and develop mitigation plan.

Essential Functions:

• Provide required operations support program training/support to local customer
• Experience in the use of IT tools for managing and troubleshooting complex computer networks
• Experience in the management of WSOTS computer networks with skills particular to the administration of a Windows and ADdomain environment
• Support Technical Trainer and TC SME in the execution of their duties as required
• Provide training to Technical Trainer and TC SME personnel as required
• Provide personnel development mentoring and leadership

Qualifications:

Must Have an Active Top Secret Clearance
• Must be able to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC)
• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience

Preferred Additional Skills:

• SATCOM and instructional experience in a military environment
• Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, tactics, and employees within a team
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication
• Ability to prioritize tasks as well as manage multiple projects and task team
• Ability to efficiently manage workload and prioritize tasks
• Experience with computer-based satellite network control systems and IT
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to identify issues, analyze situations, and develop solutions
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Ability to direct, monitor, and review all on-site contractor performance and mission support
• Ability to act as liaison between field personnel and the WSOTS II Program Office

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey state is $86,500-$160,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
