We’re looking for an experienced Network & Security Engineer who can design, implement, and operate the network and security estate here at L3Harris. You’ll bring experience, drive, enthusiasm, and a passion for technology.

What the role will involve
The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
- Operate within an Agile environment
- Provide technical leadership within a collaborative team
- Contribute to the wider team to design, implement and operate secure networking capabilities
- Proactively maintain the network and security hardware, applications, and services
- Respond to incidents, requests and troubleshoot connectivity or performance issues
- Implement planned Change across all the devices and services under the management of the team
- Respond to emergency situations and perform effective troubleshooting during major incidents as required
- High degree of documentation skills, for creating and maintaining design and operational documentation, Change documentation, Runbooks, Test plans and any other operational documentation as required
- Management of Control, Audit and Risk routines
- Participate in the team on-call rota
What you’ll bring
The role requires the following experience and skills:
- Strong knowledge of all round infrastructure technologies
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, to respond to shifting priorities, and to work efficiently under pressure
- Significant experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama in a global environment
- Hold a PCNSE or PCCSE certification or equivalent in experience
- Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent experience.
- High level of understanding and experience with OSPF and BGP
- Micro-segmentation principles and technologies
- Zero Trust principles
- Experience with Wireshark or other packet capture tools to analyze traffic
- Significant experience troubleshooting voice and video network traffic
- Experience with M&A activities across network and security services
- Experience of Clearpass and/or other NAC solutions
- Experience with multiple connectivity technologies including DIA, MPLS and DWDM
- Experience with wireless technologies
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Passionate in creating a collaborative, caring and safe environment for all teammates to succeed
