Job Description:
As the premier provider of Space Domain Awareness (SDA) mission solutions for the United States Space Force, L3Harris is looking for a candidate to develop and maintain space Command and Control (C2) systems. L3Harris is seeking professionals to work in a dynamic environment to solve challenging technical problems. Individuals will perform C2 system software development, design, implementation, test, and configuration management. The ideal candidate should have experience with the full software development lifecycle. This position is onsite located in Colorado Springs, CO and requires a Secret Security Clearance.
Essential Functions:
- Perform software development as a C# full stack engineer
- Experience developing with Azure, Python, and Angular
- Experience interfacing with SQL database
- Understand SDA mission sets and how to translate messages between modern and legacy formats
- Possess a Secret Clearance for classified lab access
- Ability to obtain U.S. DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
- Ability to obtain Security+ certification in less than 60 days.
- Knowledgeable in the full software development lifecycle from requirements elicitation to deployment.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Meticulous organization of open software tasks.
- Thorough understanding of software engineering principles and industry best practices, including Agile development.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with different levels of management and staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and minimum 6 years of software experience. Graduate Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and a minimum of 4 years of software experience. In lieu of degree, 10 years of software experience.
- Active U.S. DoD Secret or Top Secret Security clearance.
- At least 4 -8 years of experience in software development with a focus on C# full stack development.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Active U.S. DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
- Familiar with source code repositories such as GitLab, etc.
- Familiar with agile development and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
- Understanding of containerization.
- How to develop in a containerized environment.
- How to deploy software in a containerized environment.
- Understanding of VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid/VMware Kubernetes Services and how to integrate Docker/Windows.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $95,000 - $177,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
