Job Description:  L3Harris Technologies Inc. is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our team in supporting the Space Mission Platform (SMP) contract. This position will lead efforts as the subject matter expert in property lifecycle management, equipment sustainment, and logistical operations. This position will lead high-impact projects with broad scope and visibility across the organization, requiring minimal oversight. The role is highly collaborative, serving as a strategic logistics liaison between warehousing (shipping, receiving, property, and disposition), procurement, and program stakeholders. The ideal candidate understands not only where assets are, but why they are there—providing clarity and actionable insight to leadership, field operations, and support teams alike.

Essential Functions: 

The Logistics Specialists duties include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact, working cross-functional, for all Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) initiatives involving logistics, supply chain, procurement, finance teams, and program team members.
  • Oversee and continuously improve the full asset lifecycle process, from acquisition to disposition, to include process development as required.
    • Develop and implement systems and workflows for effective property tracking, compliance, and utilization.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on inventory utilization, equipment readiness, and operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure property accountability and audit readiness in accordance with internal standards and external regulations.
  • Coach and mentor team members and adjacent functions on best practices, compliance standards, and data accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Active SECRET security clearance required, with ability to obtain TOP SECRET clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
    • Related experience would be logistics analysis and logistics management experience that includes experience with procurement systems, inventory control systems, scheduling and executing to program milestones, and a strong record of communication with stakeholders at all levels, from operations to executive leadership.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Active Top Secret security clearance preferred
  • Development of Logistics Management Information (LMI) and/or Logistics Product Data (LPD), coordinating with Reliability Availability and Maintainability (RAM) personnel on Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) data.
  • Analyzing technical data and reports to provide specific recommendations on sparing equipment, repair parts, test equipment, and support equipment.
  • Experience developing and presenting logistics product technical documentation.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite to include Excel, Power Point, and Word.
  • Working knowledge in acquisition life cycle processes and product development.
  • Understand drawing and specification hierarchy and development.
  • Familiar with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) policies and procedures.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $56,000 - $104,000 This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
