About the role

To lead, plan, direct, manage and grow the Supply Chain/Procurement function of L3Harris SASA to ensure efficient and on-time delivery of high-quality electronics products, for use in the most demanding of applications, at the forefront of technological innovation.

What the role will involve

The responsibilities of your role will include the following:

  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies to optimize flexibility, resolve bottlenecks, and ensurebusiness agility, including comprehensive roadmap creation.​
  • Champion the use of advanced technologies and automation to achieve seamless integration, data-driven decision-making, and improved supply chain precision.​
  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration for effective, transparent materials management supporting engineering, production, returns, and sustainment.​
  • Lead supplier and vendor negotiations to drive cost savings, reliability, and on-time deliveries.​
  • Oversee material requirements planning (MRP) to maximize economies of scale, mitigate risks, and accommodate design iterations.​
  • Proactively identify and address supply and equipment bottlenecks, recommending appropriate mitigation or capital investments.​
  • Manage procurement of commercial and custom materials, ensuring key performance metrics are met and regularly reviewing supplier performance.​
  • Negotiate contracts using strong analytical insight and cost validation methods.​
  • Effectively manage inventory, ensuring traceability, compliance, and scheduled kitting for uninterrupted production.​
  • Apply visual management and exceptional leadership to facilitate rapid decision-making and meet operational deadlines.​
  • Ensure all supply chain activities comply with regulatory requirements and standards, including ITAR, SOX, approved suppliers, counterfeit avoidance, ERP instructions, and AS9100.​
  • Oversee performance reviews, metrics reporting, and continuous improvement programs within the team.​

What you’ll bring

The role requires the following experience and skills:

  • Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business/Purchasing or a combination or equivalent experience and/or education/training
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Supply Chain role
  • A strong track record of success in supply chain management, relating to improving efficiencies and cost reductions across the supply chain
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Proven strategic planning experience
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and proactively manage stakeholders and conflicting priorities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to communicate clearly and concisely to internal and external parties
  • Extensive experience with ERP systems (i.e. CostPoint), incl. MRP
  • Strong analytical, mathematics, data capability Excel spreadsheet, mapping /visualization tools
