Job Description:
Supervises custodians for government and customer owned property in a material/production environment. Manages the inventory, asset control, and monitors compliance with government property standards.
Essential Functions:
- Perform incoming processing for U.S. Government- and Customer-owned property per ISO procedures
- Manage use and return of Government Furnished Property
- Ensure that all requisitioned parts are only used for the appropriate program for which they were in support of. Input all transactions in the appropriate tracking system and report any anomalies.
- Responsible for the Government Storage Area, keeping it secure and keeping records of where all parts are located.
- Assist with final property inventory and contract closeout activities.
- Maintain computerized inventory records, document all discrepancies and able to execute complex part research (i.e. Loss/Damage/Destruction of government property).
- Load and unload heavy materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves, by hand or various power lifting and handling equipment.
- Support DCMA and customers (internal/external) to support audits and shape proactive relationships as required for select programs.
- Routinely assess procedures and provide suggestions for streamlining and improving processes.
- Suggests, participates and supports continuous improvement activities.
- Prioritize safety and keep work area clean and well organized.

- Knowledge and experience in managing inventory and government property administration.
- Inventory management and thorough knowledge and understanding of logistics functions (receipt, storage, movement, tracking, shipping, and history of hardware).
- Knowledge of material handling procedures, government property compliance and Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
- Sound reasoning and decision-making ability; strong analytical skills.
- Must be able to interface with Engineering, Manufacturing, Contracts, Procurement, Quality, Administrative, and Management personnel.
- Good communication skills including the ability to listen to team members and work as a team member to meet program objectives.
- Proficient in use of personal computers with the ability to use MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- FAR 52.241-1 & 54 compliance
- Knowledge of FAR 52.245-1 Government Property
- Deltek Costpoint or WMS
- Familiarity with L3Harris product lines and military standards is preferred.
- Soft skills (I.E. Proficient in MS Office, Strong communication…)
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of directly related government property administration work experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior directly related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior directly related experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract multiply and divide.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $60,000 - $112,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
