Noah B.

Hardware Engineering Intern
Palm Bay, Florida

"I initially chose L3Harris because I heard about all the next-generation projects that are being performed here. As an engineer, this excited me a lot and I wanted to be a part of a team that would develop these technologies and solutions.

Overall, this experience at L3Harris really taught me how to be an engineer. While I do heavily value the experience I gained using instrumentation and being part of the PCB fabrication flow, there comes a more valuable learning experience in the form of problem-solving that I was able to develop here at L3Harris. I was constantly learning on the fly and communicating with my team to tackle new problems and troubleshooting unexpected results. It’s a skill that applies to every facet of life, whether it be projects at school or new work opportunities."

Noah integrated seamlessly into our dynamic team, which includes scientists, engineers, technicians and engineering specialists. He demonstrated our value of Respect by working in a very inclusive fashion with all different levels of personnel on the team.

Gabrielle G.

Mechanical Engineering/Electronic Packaging Intern
Amityville, New York

"Throughout the course of my internship, I had the opportunity to work on various projects within the electronic packaging mechanical engineering team. For my main project, I was tasked with designing a counterweight device for product testing.

I knew I wanted to be involved in the aerospace industry since 6th grade, so after years of tailoring my education to fit that goal, I decided to pursue my undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering with a spaceflight focus. L3Harris not only fits my professional aspirations, but it's also the perfect place to learn and grow as an engineer. My career goals align with the mission of L3Harris, and I am excited about the possibility of contributing to a company that is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technological advancements."

Chuck G.

Finance Intern
Melbourne, Florida

"Coming from a military background, I’ve always valued mission-driven work and the technologies that support our nation and the warfighter. L3Harris stood out to me because of its direct impact on aerospace and defense, and the chance to learn from professionals working across critical areas of the business.

This internship gave me meaningful insight into how a mission-driven company like L3Harris operates. I built skills in data analysis, communication and cross-functional collaboration that I’ll apply as I finish my degree at Florida State University and continue developing professionally."

Chuck has made an immediate impact to the Finance Training & Development department. Not only has he instantly started to absorb the complex nature of government contracting finance, but he has applied his knowledge and experience into ways we can make our training programs better for our enterprise Finance & Contracts function.

– Andrew S., Director, Finance Training & Development
