Matt m.
Supply Chain Intern
Palm Bay, Florida
"I chose L3Harris because I have firsthand experience with the critical importance of their work. As a United States Marine Corps Veteran, I relied on L3Harris equipment daily, which was vital to our mission. The equipment I used, including L3Harris night vision, radios, and IR devices, played a crucial role not only during training but also during my two overseas deployments. Now that I am out of the military and pursuing my college education, it was an obvious choice to intern for a company that had such a significant impact on my service. I am eager to contribute to L3Harris's mission and support the development of technologies that are essential to our nation.
During my internship at L3Harris, I worked on a Cost to Serve project for Supply Chain within SAS. This project gave important insights into the costs and spending of different businesses. My work will help with strategic decisions and improve operational efficiency. This experience greatly improved my analytical skills and showed my ability to achieve impactful results within a complex organization."

wILMER M.
Quality Engineering Intern
Canoga Park, California
"During my internship at L3Harris, I've had the opportunity to work with the quality engineers in the non-destructive testing team, where I learned about various testing techniques and processes. I was involved in several projects, including participating in team activities and contributing to procedure revisions. One of my favorite tasks was working on computed tomography files and improving workflow efficiency through software automation.
The location in Canoga Park, California, particularly attracted me because of its significance in the aerospace industry. Growing up in the area, I always dreamed of working at this site, and it has been an honor to be part of such an innovative company with a rich history."

BAILEY V.
Mechanical Engineering Intern

"L3Harris truly cares about individual growth and finding your way. There are numerous opportunities to get experience in whatever it is that you desire. Specifically at Palm Bay, there are always opportunities to be involved in all aspects of the process from design to manufacturing to testing. In addition, the projects that you work on matter.
The experience I have gained here will help shape my last year in college, as well as my early career. I plan to pursue additional thermal courses such as Thermodynamics 2 and Thermodynamics for Microelectronics because I believe that I can better contribute with knowledge in this area. After this summer, I would like to pursue a career with a manufacturing engineering focus as I thoroughly enjoy spending my time on the manufacturing floor."
Bailey’s work directly contributed to L3Harris’ commitment of delivering a world-class product and mission capability. Her aptitude, desire to learn and teachability were welcome additions to the team and enabled her an opportunity to make a lasting impact.
