Job Description:
The Space and Airborne Systems Segment has a need for a Program Financial Analyst to join their team. A Program Finance Analyst is an individual contributor that is embedded with specific program teams to control all aspects of the program’s finance.
Essential Functions:
- Customer and internal reporting
- Financial analysis
- Earned Value Management implementation
- Orders, sales, profit, cash flow forecasting and analysis
- Cost proposal development
- Invoicing coordination, tracking, and collection
- Working with Program Management and other functions, complying with their procedures and ensuring compliance with Finance procedure
- Leadership by providing clear, actionable information to Program Managers and other stakeholders for improving the program’s financial standing
- Lead Supply chain management forecast review process
- Own the documentation, monitoring and reporting of key forecast closure items
- Generate dashboards with key performance indicators that inform the labor forecast for the SSID portfolio
- Aggreates risks and opportunties within the SSID portfolio to help inform forecast, startegy, and the joint strategic plan
- Aids management in the consolodation of program inputs to help inform monthly forecast review for the SSID portfolio
- Lead the analysis of forecast variances, collecting responses from all programs and distilling results to finance leadership
- Lead the team through generating cash related risks and opportunities. Responsible for driving action to capture opportunity and mitigate risk.
Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain US Security Clearance
- BS/BA Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or other analytical field and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role. Minimum of 2 years of experience with a Master’s Degree.
- Strong aptitude in Microsoft Excel (to include lookups, pivot tables, and general best practices)
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Experience in financial management tools
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience in government contract finance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills
- Organized and driven to continuously improve
