Job Description:
We are seeking a Quality Engineering Technician C to join our team and support Quality Engineering in the inspection, testing, and auditing of electromechanical products. In this role, you will ensure compliance with rigorous quality standards and specification requirements while collaborating closely with engineers to drive process improvements. You will play a critical part in maintaining performance, reliability, and traceability for mission-critical products. Essential Functions:
- Perform inspections, tests, analyses, and audits on electromechanical assemblies, mechanical components, and test equipment.
- Verify product conformance to specifications and ensure compliance with government and customer requirements.
- Provide production quality oversight to guarantee performance, reliability, and traceability of end-item.
- Collaborate with Quality Engineers to develop inspection requirements, techniques, and quality plans.
- Analyze defect data trends and assist Quality Engineers in recommending process improvements.
- Assist Quality Engineering in performing failure analysis investigations.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of quality inspection findings.
Basic Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in quality inspection techniques and tools.
- Experience working with precision mechanical and complex electronic assemblies.
- Experience in microelectronics or aerospace/defense manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with inspection software and digital quality tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience with root cause analysis.
- Experience or certification in IPC-610 or J-STD-001 is a plus.
