Job Description:
L3Harris Technologies has an opening for a Senior Space Technical Operations Specialist (STO) for an important national Security Program.
The successful candidate will support a high performing team of Government and Contractor professionals to monitor, analyze, coordinate and deliver operations activities across a variety of assets in support of the Space Warfighting Mission. The candidate will be pivotal in supporting coordinated activities across multiple government agencies and ensuring the safety and success of the efforts. The successful candidate will experience with space operations planning, COA and TTP execution, and the Space Warfighting mission. The successful candidate will also have demonstrated the ability operate in a dynamic and high energy environment with constantly changing tasking and priorities. This position will be supporting the Space Superiority Business Division of the Space Superiority and Geospatial Sector within the Space and Airborne Systems Segment.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare, Plan and Integrate STP activities into customer plans, exercises, training and operations.
- Advise senior staff on unique capabilities and security requirements.
- Provide STO subject matter expertise in support of the development of STO objectives.
- Synchronize STO effort across multiple organizations.
- Provide STO subject matter expertise to outside organizations in support of planning coordination and deconfliction.
- Support the planning, integration and execution of STO activities into exercises, test, and experiments.
- Support the development, deployment and execution of CONOP’s and TTP’s.
- Prepare various reports, presentations and plans as needed.
- Other tasks as directed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Active Top-Secret clearance with CI Poly required.

- Familiarity with basic orbital mechanics.

- Experience with Satellite Operations.
- Experience with DoD/NRO spacecraft.
- Experience with DoD exercise planning cycle.
