Job Schedule: 9/80, every other Friday off
Essential Functions:
- Create and maintain schematic symbols for Electrical Computer Aided Design (ECAD) library from component vendor data sheets.
- Create and maintain solder pad footprints for ECAD library from component vendor data sheets and IPC standards.
- Create and maintain 3D Models of ECAD library parts for use by Mechanical Engineering.
- Ensure that all requirements for manufacturing and assembly are met.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Competent experience in ECAD libraries, or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in ECAD libraries is desired. Associate degree or certificate in Graphics Technology or Engineering Technology is desired but not required.
- Competent skills and experience with ECAD software applications and related PC equipment. Specific experience with Mentor Xpedition®, Siemens NX, and Siemens Teamcenter software is desirable.
- Competent knowledge and experience of electrical components, component vendor data sheets, and electrical schematics is desirable.
- General knowledge of industry standards such as IPC for design and ASME/ANSI for documentation is desired.
