Job Description:
L3Harris’ Broadband Communication Systems sector is currently seeking a Sr Spec, Program Mgmt to join our team. This position will be based at our Salt Lake City, UT facility. This person will contribute to the company’s success by providing onsight guidance and oversight to our portfolio of IRAD programs. This Sr Spec, Program Management will lead multi-functional teams in program execution, financial management, risk & opportunity management, proposal and production execution.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement program strategies, plans, and objectives that align with the organization's goals.
- Lead and mentor project managers and teams to achieve program milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-project activities and facilitate collaboration across multiple departments and stakeholders.
- Manage program budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and financial objectives are met.
- Monitor and report on program performance, providing regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate program risks, implementing solutions to overcome obstacles and challenges.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners, vendors, and consultants.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies.
- Drive continuous improvement within the program, leveraging best practices and lessons learned from project execution.
- Conduct regular program reviews and post-implementation evaluations to assess outcomes and impact.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

- Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-department project teams or manage across the function.
