Job Description:
This person will contribute to the company’s success by interfacing with multiple departments and organizations and is primarily responsible for ensuring project deliverables are completed on schedule.
Essential Functions:
- Perform critical path analysis to identify and mitigate delays that could impact production schedules
- Analyze material configuration and job order status using Windows-based computer systems and software
- Coordinate and negotiate workflow through multiple work centers via various functional organizations to secure needed resources while ensuring changing customer demands, and schedule deadlines are met.
- Identify and create goals that lead to the successful completion of project deliverables within the allotted time
- Effectively communicate detailed schedule development to stakeholders, department leads, production management, and executive management
- Perform detailed schedule, risk, and continuous improvement-based analysis to identify, develop, and drive solutions
- Frequently lifts, twists, and rotates with 32 pounds on a consistent basis
- Works overtime, weekend, holiday and/or second shift hours as needed by program
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience in a manufacturing, production, or other highly schedule-based environment
- Experience in project or program execution techniques
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems
- Interpret basic engineering instructions and drawings
