Job Description:
Join our team as an Order Management Support specialist in Salt Lake City, UT, where you'll play a crucial role in processing and managing sales orders to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. In this position, you'll maintain critical customer files, coordinate with various departments on delivery and contract details, and provide timely updates on order statuses, all within a dynamic and data-driven environment.
Essential Functions:
- Inputs and processes sales orders for materials or merchandise directly as specified in the customer contact.
- Maintains customer files with sales contract and other information.
- Coordinates with departments regarding delivery status, shipping dates, and required contract updates.
- Tracks sales order shipment, delivery, and backlog activities.
- Interfaces with internal customers in response to inquiries regarding status of orders.
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Able to use Microsoft Word and Excel
- Coordinate activities with internal and external resources
- Able to work in a fast paced environment with data driven performance metrics
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Perform System transactions in accordance with provided instructions
