Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking a Manufacturing Technician D to join our team. This person will contribute to the company’s success by controlling and monitoring units, boards and modules in troubleshoot and those progressing normally through the test process. They will help Train Techs to troubleshoot to component level, ensure techs make required entries in quality module and control boards going to other factories for test and troubleshoot.
Essential Functions:
- Ensures test stations are running at rate
- Highlights technical issues to Engineering, Quality and test engineering on issues effecting yield and test throughput
- Works with rework expeditor to prevent units in rework aging more than 1 week
- Perform functions associated with manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies
- Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment
- Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process
- Works with engineers to conduct experiments
- Provides training to lower level technicians on Vigilacne prodcut line
- Working knowledge and hands on experience on radio manufacturing (test and diagnostics to include component, board, module and radio level)
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 8 years prior experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 4 years prior experience
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont, Washington State and New York State is $55,500-$102,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
