Job Schedule: Employees work 10 hour days, 4 days a week (2nd shift)
Position Overview:
This person will contribute to the company’s success by controlling and monitoring units, boards and modules in troubleshoot and those progressing normally through the test process. Help Train Techs to troubleshoot to component level. Ensures techs make required entries in quality module and controls boards going to other factories for test and troubleshoot.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Ensures test stations are running at rate.
- Highlights technical issues to Engineering, Quality and test engineering on issues effecting yield and test throughput.
- Works with rework expeditor to prevent units in rework aging more than 1 week.
- Responsible for performing functions associated with manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
- Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
- Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
- Works with engineers to conduct experiments.
- Provides training to lower level technicians on Falcon III products.
Basic Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Has working knowledge and hands on experience on radio manufacturing (test and diagnostics to include component, board, module and radio level).
- Prior exposure to L3Harris products.
