Job Description:
L3Harris Corporation is seeking an Administrative Assistant to perform administrative and staff support duties to support the Hardware Engineering and SATCOM engineering groups reporting directly to the Director of Hardware Engineering. The team member will demonstrate the highest level of personal integrity, professionalism, and work ethic as well as delivering a high level of customer service for internal and external customers. This team member will practice task management and execution excellence. They will adapt to changing environments and multiple competing demands, are equally comfortable working as an individual or in a group setting and are able to interact with all levels of management.
Essential Functions:
- Support both Hardware Engineering and SATCOM teams Onsite in multiple locations in Rochester, New York
- Assist with the preparation of presentations, reports, spreadsheets, letters, memorandums, agendas, and schedules; may perform some research or data analysis tasks and report generation
- Perform the Timecard Representative responsibilities for the team
- Execute Facilities requests (moves, upgrades etc.) for the team
- Space Planning: Coordinate and track workspace assignments, ensure spaces are prepared for office moves and new hires
- New Hire Onboarding (ordering IT Equipment)
- Maintain leadership’s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel
- Schedule external vendor or customer and internal meetings, set up meeting room and interface with catering
- Arrange leadership level travel itineraries and assist with timely submission of expense reports
- Manage office supply inventory and process office supply orders
- Help plan and execute major engineering events
- Receive/Deliver messages, packages, mail, and paperwork
- Document meetings and publish meeting minutes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and ensure tasks are completed on time
- Ability to provide quality deliverables with quick turn around and tight deadlines
- Possess excellent communication skills, quality commitment, customer focus, strong interpersonal skills and be adaptable
- Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Demonstrates initiative, follow up, and teamwork
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 8 years prior experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 4 years prior experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office suite of tools including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York State is $55,500-$102,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
