Job Description:
L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a candidate who will work in a cooperative team environment with cross functional teams to develop and verify Integrated Product Support (IPS) work products. Specifically, this candidate is responsible for IPS Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leadership on a large development program. As part of the IPS IPT duties of this role, the candidate is accountable for cost and schedule milestones, status reporting, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders, staffing inputs for the IPT, risk identification, risk mitigation, technical and process compliance, and verification/validation of all IPS work products.
Development tasking for this IPT spans all 12 elements of IPS including: sustainment engineering, supply support, maintenance planning and management, PHS&T (packaging, handling, storage, and transportation), technical data, support equipment, training and training support, manpower and personnel, facilities and infrastructure and computer resources. Specifically, these tasks may include:
- Defines and develops logistics support requirements, plans, and schedules such as: Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Product Support Analysis (PSA), depot maintenance activation planning, and Bill of Material (BOM)
- Performs life cycle cost, reliability, maintainability, and availability analyses such as Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA)
- Managing Cost Account for IPT/IPS related charges within the assigned program
- Analyzes technical data and reports to determine/formulate specific recommendations regarding spare/repair parts and support equipment
- Provides technical/administrative direction and surveillance to properly identify and control design changes
- Researches, organizes, writes, edits, and produces original technical documentation
- Develops, organizes, and delivers technical training programs, related materials and/or interactive courseware for customer training
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Knowledge Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition Process
- Organization, development, and implementation of Life Cycle Sustainment Plan, or as appropriate, Integrated Support Plan
- Knowledge of the 12 Integrated Product Support Elements
- Proficiency in using Life Cycle Cost (LCC) modeling tools desired
- Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills demonstrated by related work experience
- Previous military, industry, or government experience in integrated product support
