Job Description:
Seeking a highly talented individual passionate about desktop technologies, troubleshooting, and end user experience to join the Endpoint Automation team. The Endpoint Automation Team supports the entire Windows client environment at L3Harris. This is an intermediate level position that requires someone with practical knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Windows Client Operating Systems, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft BitLocker Administration and Monitoring (MBAM), Lakeside's Systrack, Remote administration and troubleshooting, and software/application packaging. The candidate must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), must be able to manage time effectively and ability to prioritize and execute tasks in high paced environment.
Essential Functions:
- Assist with maintenance of current Microsoft Endpoint Management environment for an enterprise organization.
- Software package development, testing, deployment, and issue tracking.
- Assist with the creation of collections, creating and updating software deployments, maintaining software compliance.
- Scripting software deployments with Wise, PSApp Deploy, and PowerShell.
- Support the configuration and Implementation of Windows 11 in the Enterprise environmen.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows 10/11, experience to include administration and troubleshooting.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to assist customer development needs.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to work in a team oriented, collaborative environment.
- Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Intermediate-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager - Software Packaging/Task Sequence/Distribution/Troubleshooting/Co-Management.
- Knowledge in the following areas: Microsoft 365 Administration/Microsoft Windows Client Administration/Active Directory/Group policy/Imaging/Tableau Reporting.
- Intermediate-Advanced knowledge of PowerShell Scripting.
- Application Metering/Software Reclamation.
- Enterprise reporting tools (MECM, Splunk, Systrack, etc.)
- Knowledge of PC performance monitoring tools (i.e Lakeside Systrack, 1E).
- Familiar with MECM, Patch My PC, SNOW, PowerShell or other scripting, and SQL.
- Strong aptitude in OS repairs, hardware, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Strong PowerShell and scripting skills.
- Advanced Windows 10 knowledge and experience to include administration and troubleshooting.
