The L3Harris Accelerated Leadership Program (LHXLP) is an accelerated rotational leadership development program designed to attract, develop, and retain future General Manager talent. The program provides participants visibility, diverse experiences, robust training and development across multiple business models and geographies. As part of LHXLP, participants will gain valuable cross-functional process knowledge and broaden their skillsets. The program will provide an opportunity for 1:1 mentoring, networking, exposure to senior leadership as well as formal and on-the-job training.

  • This role is open to employees in all locations but participants will relocate every 8 months for a duration of two years while in-program.

The program provides exposure across L3Harris’ core businesses and offers meaningful rotations with a focus on business and leadership skills. We are looking for motivated individuals with a strong desire to excel, grow their career, and assume a leadership position within L3Harris.

Upon program completion, candidates will assume a Division General Manager role or equivalent.

Essential Functions:

  • Manages large, complex project initiatives of substantial importance to the organization with minimal oversight or direction.
  • Drives program execution in order to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs
  • Frequently responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees across L3Harris within area of expertise
  • Communicates within and outside of the organization to explain and influence changes to practices, processes, and approaches.
  • Communicates with leadership regarding matters of importance to the functional or business area.
  • Work consists of making significant improvements of processes, systems, solutions, or products to enhance performance of job area.
  • Conducts extensive investigation to understand root cause of problems.
  • Provides input into new products/processes and implements operational plans that have measurable impact on business or functional results.
  • Implements strategic goals established by leadership
  • Establishes operational plans for job area with short-term impact on results (e.g., less than 1 year).
  • Achieve milestones related to each rotation
  • Advocate for change and drive trusted disrupter culture
  • Improve proficiency on General Manager competencies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience
  • Ability to relocate anywhere in the United States as required by the program’s rotations
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Security Clearance
  • Desire to become a geographically mobile division General Manager upon completion of program
