Job Description:
Performs planning and scheduling functions involved with coordinating products and materials through various production phases. Implements planned production schedules, labor loading and capacity requirements. Reviews schedules to determine materials and parts requirements to ensure materials are available according to schedules. Collects and analyzes data and prepares reports including recommendations to meet internal and external demands for materials and finished goods. Expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for packaging shipments of completed goods against external sales order or customer demand.
- Responsible for receipt of units in Lab, MES, Database, create E-File Folder, create travelers, and Cost Point processes.
- Perform necessary Cost Point transactions to allocate complete assemblies to upper-level manufacturing orders, complete reliefs of dispatched production on the operating floor, research production control issues and questions when asked by various supporting job functions.
- Responsible for transactions of nonconforming material within our quality systems and ERP systems.
- Responsible for setting up batches using MES. Also, responsible for operator requested assistance during production with MES or transactions necessary to complete production.
- Expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.
- Requisition and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands.
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.
- 0 to 3 years experience with raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
