Job Description:
As an Assembly Technician you will be responsible for contributing to the success of our Sensors Division working alongside our Production team. Additionally, this role will be responsible for performing assembly of electro optical and infrared products.
Essential Functions:
- Complete Assigned manufacturing process steps.
- Complete assigned solder processes as required.
- Support group objectives for on-time delivery.
- Assemble mechanical and/or electrical components for customer deliverables.
- Verify use of most updated procedures.
- Follow industry standard or practice for 6S.
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience reading & following drawings and work instructions.
- Able to work second shift
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- Must be a United States Citizen.
Preffered qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
- Advanced computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
