About the opportunity:
The L3HCA Manager Program Management Office (PMO) provides program governance, oversight, systems, processes and tools to enable program success for Customers and Stakeholder whilst achieving organic growth.
Responsibilities of the role include the following:
- Oversees, is accountable and provides stewardship of the Program / Project Managers (PMs) responsible for the outcomes of executing programs.
- Establishes and maintains project management standards, methodologies, processes, and tools across the organisation.
- Responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of programs within scope, schedule, budget, and quality constraints. Provides governance, support, and oversight for multiple projects.
- Establish PM training & Development. (Reach back L3H Corporate and CS PMO, tailor as applicable).
- Maintain and support program portfolio customer and stakeholder relationships.
- Capture and report on program performance – establish key metrics.
- Manage delivery of contracted documentation, information and equipment.
- Manage performance of subcontractors and assist in establishing procurement sourcing processes for vendors and subcontractors. Leverage L3H processes.
- Establish resource Management framework, monitor and control. Feed into Workforce development and infrastructure planning
- Responsible for contracted L3HCA programs performance.
- Responsible for Program EACs, PMRs and reporting.
- Responsible for Program scheduling and cost monitoring and control
Skills and Qualifications:
- Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-department program / project teams or manage across the function.
- Mastery within PM function, broad expertise across IT, Information Management, and Business Intelligence.
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Ability to focus on details and technicalities while simultaneously retaining a comprehensive vision of the big program portfolio picture.
- Work well under pressure, have great interpersonal skills, and can juggle several different projects and responsibilities with ease and composure.
- Mastery of Program Management discipline.
- Understanding of information management structures and taxonomies.
- Ability to balance competing needs and interests.
- Influence and inspire.
- Strategic thinking, the PMO will operate at the higher, portfolio level in the organisation, to support the company’s strategy.
