Job Description:
The Specialist, Systems Engineer will manage seven (7) web servers, including two (2) in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
Essential Functions:
- Must be eligible for Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph
- Administer up to 7 Product Support System web servers
- Administer Oracle Database on the 7 PSS servers
- Provide Requirements in Jira to software development team for updates/enhancements to the web applications
- Generate and employ test plans for ensuring new development functionality and existing functionality is not degraded
- Update and maintain users manuals for the developed PSS software
- Interact directly with customer personnel in reference to the PSS Program
Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable of Web Server Administration
- Fluent wth Oracle and SQL Queries
- Conversant with Software Requirements Generation
- Provide web-server support from home on non-work days
- Technical Writing Skills for Users Manual updates
- Security+ Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance, with polygraph preferred
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Power Point and Word
- Proficient in Jira for requirements generation and tracking
