Job Description:
The Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for developing all applicable documents required to meet contracted SDRLS which relay the cybersecurity posture to our customers. Individual responsibilities include interacting with customers and authorization officials to define and achieve required Cybersecurity objectives. They will work with design engineers and program management and corporate IT to collect cybersecurity related information to pass along to the customer. They also maintain awareness of the most recent system security policies and directives, and assist Systems Engineers and other Cybersecurity Specialists with the analysis of user and system requirements and constraints.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Software Engineering or other related field and a minimum of 4 years related experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of degree, minimum of 8 years prior related experience.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance from the U.S. Government which requires U.S. Citizenship
- Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the accreditation process.
- Experience with NIST 800-171 and NIST 800-53r4 standards.
- Experience with analyzing system specifications and translating to cybersecurity requirements.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience with routers and firewalls a plus
- Active Secret Clearance
- Security+ certification, CISSP
- Familiarity with Platform Information Technology (PIT) a plus.
- Experience hardening Windows based operating systems desired.
