Job Description:
We are seeking a L3Harris Supervisor, Quality (Test and Inspection) to join our Camden, AR facility to be a key element of the Quality organization's leadership team.
Responsible for the development, implementation, leadership, and measurement of total quality management programs and Six Sigma initiatives. Leads projects, provides training, logistical and infrastructural assistance for quality initiatives. Ensures internal, customer, regulatory and 3rd party requirements are defined, measured, and continuously improved. Leads root cause and corrective action to address product and process non-conformances and compliance gaps.
Essential Functions:
- Directly supervise hourly employees performing quality inspection duties.
- Reviews inspection and production schedules and manpower resources.
- Assign and manage employees to maximize inspection objectives, maintain quality and attain output requirements.
- Ensure conformance to product specifications and workmanship standards.
- Participate in establishing and modifying inspection methods and processes.
- Recommend changes in materials, equipment and procedures.
- Maintain a variety of reports, records and inspection documentation to reflect schedules, performance and methods.
- Establish training plans and ensure appropriate training is delivered as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related Supervisor experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related Supervisor experience.
- 2+ years of experience with inspections, to include 1st article, in process and receiving.
Preferred Additional Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ISO-9001, AS-9100.
- Knowledge of inspection equipment, CMM and attribute gauging.
- Knowledge of calibrations for calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection equipment.
