Job Title: Intern, Business (Supply Chain)
Job Location: Camden, Arkansas
Job Schedule: 4/10 – 10 hours Monday – Thursday
Job Description:
Aerojet Rocketdyne, an L3Harris Technologies Company, is seeking to fill an Intern, Business (Supply Chain) role at its Camden, Arkansas facility.
Essential Functions:
- Material Planner responsible for material plan execution to support material requirements to meet or exceed program delivery schedules. Will work alongside an experienced Aerojet Rocketdyne Planner during the training period. Review of consumption data, assist in the preparation of purchase requisitions, assist in inventory maintenance, issuance of manufacturing planning to the shop floor and tracking materials through the build process and perform transactional activities within ERP system.
- Other tasks as assigned to support a specific program and/or Supply Chain/Material Management.
Qualifications:
Candidate must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Business, Finance, Communications, Math or other related major and be returning to school upon completion of the assignment.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Junior standing or above
- Strong academic performance
- Basic understanding of the materials planning process, terminology and general requirements
- General understanding of supply chain, blueprint reading and manufacturing requirements
- Coursework in inventory management, procurement, buying
- Good negotiation and problem resolution skills
- Demonstrated experience in multi-tasking
- Solid academic track record of accomplishment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Software applications
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work with little direction
- Leadership & teamwork skills
