Job Description:
The Lead Program Management will drive Program Excellence ensuring excellence in the execution and performance of all programs at Maritime Power and Energy Solutions, Anaheim site. This role will be a Subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of job area and in-depth knowledge of project management. Manages large, complex project initiatives of substantial importance to the organization with minimal oversight or direction.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive program management framework that promotes best practices across all program portfolios that support L3Harris and MPES’ mission and goals.
- Provides leadership and guidance to PMO staff to ensure program teams execute on time and on budget.
- Design, establish, and maintain processes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality across all program portfolios.
- Develop robust reporting mechanisms to track balanced performance metrics and provide regular updates to site leadership.
- Communicates within and outside of the organization to explain and influence changes to practices, processes, and approaches.
- Makes significant improvements in processes, systems, or products.
- Provides input into new products/processes and implements operational plans that have measurable impact on business or functional results.
- Reports to PMO leadership and collaborates with program portfolio leads to deliver on commitments and meet L3Harris growth, profitability and customer satisfaction goals.
- Strong communication skills.
- Support and contribute to training initiatives aimed at enhancing the skills of program management professionals within the PMO.
- Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with nine (9) years of prior Program Management experience.
- Graduate Degree with seven (7) years of prior Program Management experience.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior Program Management experience.
- Must be a US Citizen.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $108K-201K. For California, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City, the salary range for this role is $125-232K. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
