Job Description:
L3Harris Technologies is currently seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Operations Test Engineering Group in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Engineer will be responsible project management of test process design/implementation. The Systems Engineer will work with the test systems engineering group to ensure product requirements are meet. The Systems Engineer will communicate and coordinate test engineering projects with contract manufacturers and external customers.
Essential Functions:
- Derive, and manage test requirements and Test development
- Create proposal content and estimates
- Track and report on Test Engineering task status
- Provides professional written and verbal communication to external elements including L3Harris customers
- Provide input on Test Engineering strategic vision
- Interface with Engineering to help transtion new products into operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Security clearance
- Willingness to work extended hours to meet project schedules and commitments.
- Possession of an active security clearance if required for the role.
- 5 years’ experience in both Digital and Radio Frequency Electrical Engineering fields
- 5 years’ experience as the primary interface on a technical project
- 5 years’ experience deriving, and managing contractural test requirements and Test development
- 5 years’ experience with team leadership
